Investigator Initiated Research

At bioMérieux, our dedication to public health connects everything we do. Since 1963, we have been fulfilling the vision of the Mérieux family to improve health worldwide, guided by the values of respect, accountability, transparency, and sharing. We pioneer diagnostic solutions to improve patient care, prevent contamination, and address major public health challenges such as antimicrobial resistance, sepsis, and respiratory infections. We invest in innovation, act responsibly toward the environment, and support the most vulnerable populations.

  • We support independent research that advances diagnostic science and improves patient outcomes.
  • Our program is open to qualified investigators worldwide who share our commitment to innovation and public health.
  • Our goal is to deepen understanding of our products and related disease areas, while improving patient care through faster, more accurate diagnostics that enhance clinical outcomes and ensure consumer safety.
  • External research partners play a critical role in the development and execution of high-quality, independent research that advances scientific knowledge, strengthens evidence, and improves patient care. bioMérieux may support investigator-initiated studies as allowed under local laws and regulations.
